The 20-year-old’s future has been in some doubt in recent times after reported disputes over a pay rise, leading to rumoured interest from big names such as Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Still, the player himself appears focused on staying with Liverpool and has suggsted that he could be close to confirming his stay with the Anfield club.
When asked about his contract situation, the England international said: “We’re working on it and hopefully it will be sorted soon.”
