Tottenham boss to drop ever-present first-teamer.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to make one major change to his selection as his side take on Chelsea in the Capital One Cup final this Sunday, according to the Daily Mail.
The Argentine tactician plans to use Hugo Lloris in goal at Wembley instead of cup goalkeeper Michel Vorm, who has played every match of the side’s run to the final so far in this competition.
Still, the Dutchman, a summer signing from Swansea City, has not convinced in some of his displays for Tottenham this season, and Pochettino would rather start regular number one Lloris for this big game.
Clearly, Spurs cannot afford any room for sentiment on such a big occasion, as they look to win their first piece of silverware since the 2008 final win over Chelsea.
