Arsenal 2-0 Everton: Player Ratings As Gunners Move Up To Third With Santi Cazorla Once Again Superb

Arsenal were looking to offer a quick response after a disappointing performance in midweek.

Despite a nervy first half, the Gunners managed comfortably secure all three points at the Emirates against Everton.

A cool finish by Olivier Giroud from a corner set Arsenal on the way, before Tomas Rosicky came on to settle the game with a deflected effort.

A few dodgy decisions proved to be the right call as the Colombian kept another clean sheet.

RB) Hector Bellerin – 7

With the benefit of decent protection, Bellerin provided great adventure down the right hand side.

CB) Gabriel – 7

After one mistake in the first half which was dealt with by Ospina, Gabriel made a wonderful last-ditch challenge to deny Romelu Lukaku and cap off a solid display.

CB) Laurent Koscielny – 7

Alongside Gabriel, Koscielny quickly becomes the leader of the back four and the role suited the Frenchman.

Kieran Gibbs Arsenal

LB) Kieran Gibbs – 6

Struggled going forward to keep the attacks going but was sound defensively.
