Hull City 2-3 Chelsea: Blues player ratings with Thibaut Courtois shaky and Eden Hazard impressive

Posted by

RW: Willian – 7 (Zouma 80′)

Ever present in Chelsea’s attacks and contributed the cross for Remy’s winner before being taken off to shore things up defensively.

ST: Diego Costa – 7 (Remy 75′)

Was his usual aggressive and confrontational self, having squared up with Michael Dawson and being involved in a coming together in the second half, but will be pleased with his 19th goal of the season.

LW: Eden Hazard – 8

Scored a spectacular goal and thereafter carried the majority of the attacking threat for his side, without him Chelsea would be much worse off.

Subs:

Kurt Zouma – 5

Brought on for Willian to plug gaps defensively and it worked as Chelsea walked away with the three points.

Oscar – 6

Came on for Ramires to find more quality and creativity in the middle of the park, he was a little flat though and was thwarted by Hull.

Loic Remy – 7

Played the super-sub role perfectly, scoring what turned out to be the winner 92 seconds after coming on.
