Loic Remy acted the part of super-sub after scoring a goal late on in the second half to put Chelsea back in the lead against Hull, but only thanks to another goalkeeping howler, this time from Allan McGregor.

The Frenchman had been on the pitch for a couple of minutes, having replaced Diego Costa, when with his first touch he fired a shot on goal, that somehow squirmed past the Scottish goalkeeper.

The fifth goal in the game would have come as a relief to Jose Mourinho, who had seen his side pegged back to 2-2, having taken a two-goal lead in the first ten minutes.
