Blues boss Jose Mourinho is known to court midfielder Paul Pogba, the Turin based star valued at £70m, and Oscar could be used as bait in Chelsea’s push for the French international.
23 year old Brazilian Oscar has been fairly average of late and may well be a player Mourinho would be willing to sacrificie in order to land Pogba.
Recent comments made by Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, during which he alluded to his side’s ability to cope without Pogba, will only heighten speculation of a possible sale.
Pogba has proven a massive hit since his move to Juventus in 2012, a transfer that cost the Italian giants next to nothing, but the club’s inability to make a big impact at Champions League level could fuel the midfielder’s desire for a fresh challenge.
