On Thursday afternoon, Chelsea captain John Terry penned a new deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
The 34-year-old’s form has seen him stay at the heart of Jose Mourinho’s stunning Blues side this season, and he even picked up a man-of-the-match performance in their Capital One Cup triumph over Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the month.

Chelsea captain John Terry signs new one-year contract extension
The former England international’s contract was set to expire in the summer, but given the defender has played an imperative role in maintaining Chelsea’s position at the top of the Premier League table, and with his form showing no signs of dipping, a new contract is no surprise.
Now Terry can focus on delivering the title back to Stamford Bridge…
