The 23 year old Lyon ace has racked up 26 goals in Ligue 1 action this term to help his side to the top of the table and the French international may well be tempted by a high-profile move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Giroud has been in fine form this term and may well benefit from a striking partner though one wonders how such a system would work with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil all likely to be key part of the Gunners attack for the foreseeable future.

The Metro rate Lacazette as worth around £25m which is a fee Arsenal would have no problem financing and recent big money moves made by Arsene Wenger have displayed his relative new found willingness to spend big to bring in top talents.
