Arsenal star Lukas Podolski, currently on loan at Inter Milan, is wanted by Sunderland, West Brom, and Newcastle according to the Daily Star.
The 29-year-old has been on loan at Inter Milan since January after finding it difficult to get in to the Gunners’ side since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez. The German only scored his first goal for the Nerazzurri last week, and hasn’t looked his best while playing for former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini’s side.
As a result it is clubs in the bottom half of the top flight who are interested in the World Cup winner. Both the Tyneside rivals are in danger of being relegated this season, and if they are it is very unlikely that they will sign the striker. Meanwhile the Baggies are much more sure of their place in the division, but still it would be surprising if they could afford what are probably very high wages that the Gunners currently pay him.
With 19 goals in 60 appearances for the North London club in the Premier League, would Podolski be a good signing for these sides?
