Stamford Bridge manager to be rewarded for Premier League title triumph.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has agreed a new contract with his Stamford Bridge side worth a cool £42m according to The Sun.
The 52 year old has reached a verbal agreement with Blues owner Roman Abramovich which will see the Portuguese manager earn £10.5m a year over a four year period.
Mourinho is into the latter stages of his second season of his second spell in charge of the West London side and has romped to a Premier League title having also secured a Capital One Cup trophy.
However Chelsea didn’t make any impact in the Champions League and this will be an area of concern for Mourinho, who may well look to spend big this summer on improving his squad.
The terms of his new deal equate to around £200k a week, bringing him, rightly, in line with the best paid players at the club.
