The Colombian international was a key part of his country’s World Cup campaign last summer and has followed that up by becoming one of Porto’s most valuable players, but sources in Portugal are now claiming that they are ready to cash in on him in the coming months.
The 22-year-old had come across manager Arsene Wenger’s radar last year, and it is thought that this latest development will prompt the Frenchman to make a renewed bid to bring him to the Emirates.
Quintero would add a further spark to the club’s attacking line, as Wenger looks to mount a serious title challenge next term.
So far this season Quintero has made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Portuguese giants, scoring just three goals in the process.
