Liverpool could be losing Raheem Sterling in the summer after reports covered by the BBC claiming that he will be telling the Anfield hierarchy that he wants to leave.
This could leave a big hole in the Reds’ squad, with the England international one of the best players at the club. Not only this, but manger Brendan Rodgers seems to be hemorrhaging talent in the last 12 months after the departure of Luis Suarez and imminent Steven Gerrard exit. Last summer also showed that the Northern Irishman may not be the best at bringing in top class replacements.
So here is some help for the 42-year-old, with five options to make fans forget all about Sterling…
5) Theo Walcott, Arsenal
The Daily Mirror has already linked the England international to Anfield, and could help bring goals as well fill in on the wing. With the front line lacking pace this season, the 26-year-old could certainly help in that area. They could even get Walcott as part of a deal for Sterling with the Gunners.
