Anfield side linked with superb South American.
Liverpool have been encouraged to make an offer for Juventus playmaker Arturo Vidal according to the Metro.
The 27 year old Chilean has played his part in Juventus’s run to yet another Serie A title, their fourth in succession, but arguably has made less of an impact at the Turin outfit in 2014/15 than in previous campaigns.
That said, it would be hard to fathom why Massimiliano Allegri would look to sell Vidal, not least as 36 year old Andrea Pirlo is clearly at the latter stages of his career.
This source states that should Liverpool make an offer of £25m then they’d accept and Vidal would certainly add quality to the club’s midfield compliment.
Vidal is a player who makes a real impact in the final third, both with his clever distribution but also with his eye for goal, and a move to the Premier League could prove tempting.
However the lack of a Champions League berth would surely be a stumbling block, after all Vidal is likely to stay in next month’s final against Barcelona and would not want to then miss out on plying his trade in the showpiece tournament in 2015/16.
