This is second time the young winger has been chased by a European team – a few months ago Chelsea showed interest and made an offer. At that time the offer was rejected by Pachuca who wanted to keep Damm in their team so he could gain more experience in the Liga MX.

This time, negotiations seem to be going very well for the player and the club, as according to the site Record he is close to signing with the Italian club for 8 million euros.

Damm, 22, is considered one of the best young talents in Mexico. He made his debut at the age of 18 in 2012 with Estudiantes Tecos, and he was transferred to Pachuca in 2013. With his current club he played in the final of the Clausura 2014 which his team lost 4-3 to Leon, and also played in the 2014-2015 CONCACAF Champions League.
