The Chilean international has apparently already agreed terms on a Gunners contract according to Italian source CalcioMercato, a move that is nearing completion if these reports are to be believed.

The 28 year old has played less of a key role in yet another Juventus Serie A title triumph, the Turin side’s fourth on the trot, and could well be set for a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Vidal left Bayer Leverkusen for Juventus in July 2011 and has been a huge success though it’s hard to fathom quite where he would fit into an Arsenal eleven that’s already jam packed with attacking midfielders.

One imagines the presence of national team colleague Alexis Sanchez at the north London outfit would be an added motivation to make the move to Arsenal.
