The Red Devils have received official confirmation from Los Blancos [via the Manchester Evening News] that they will not take up the offer of signing Chicharito on a permanent deal following his loan season-long loan spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Louis van Gaal isn’t interested in keeping the forward at Old Trafford and the Dutchman wants to offload the striker before his contract with the Premier League giants expires next summer.

Five goals in his last 11 games for Real has left Louis van Gaal believing that the Little Pea’s inspired end to his stint under Carlo Ancelotti could have made an impression on the market. He therefore thinks that the Mexico international could prove useful during negotiations in luring his summer targets to the Theatre of Dreams.

The former Netherlands manager, the Mirror claim, will offer Hernandez as a potential makeweight in dealings with his top transfer targets.
