Last week the 24-year-old was linked with a sensational switch to the Camp Nou with Barca, according to the Mirror, considering a staggering £50m bid.
Ramsey enjoyed a superb 2013-14 season, claiming Arsenal’s Player of the Year award, scoring 16 goals and registering nine assists in 34 appearances [via Arsenal.com]. He also scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final to clinch their first piece of silverware since 2005.
However, as with many of Arsene Wenger’s stars this term, the Wales international captain has had a disrupted season through injury, struggling to replicate his performances, but has been in impressive form ahead of the FA Cup final on Saturday.
With a day to go until the big game at Wembley Stadium, Ramsey was asked if he could be tempted by a potential move to the home of the Champions League finalists.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said, “No, not at this time. I’m focusing on the FA Cup so that’s what appeals to me at this moment in time.
“That’s just something that’s been written in the papers. I’m focused on Arsenal and winning the FA Cup,” he added.
“That sort of news doesn’t affect me or even enter my mind.”
