After being dismissed from his post as Los Blancos boss on Monday night, the Italian manager stated (via Mirror Sport) that he intended to take a year away from the game and appeared to distance himself away from a potential move to the Premier League with Liverpool and Manchester City.

However, Ancelotti seems to have performed a massive u-turn following comments to the Rossoneri’s official TV channel in which he hints to shelving plans of taking a break:

“I’ve always got on well with Galliani.” He revealed (via Goal.Com)

“We’ll decide on June 3. Will I take a year off? We’ll see.” Ancelotti added.

Despite leading the club to their 10th Champions League triumph as well as the Copa Del Rey last season, the Italian’s two-year stint as Madrid boss came to an end during the week as he was made to pay the ultimate price for a trophy-less campaign this year.
