As reported by El Desmarque, Ochoa has expressed his discontent with Malage boss Javi Garcia, and has said several times that he wants to leave the club due to his limited playing time.

Since Ochoa’s arrival to Malaga in August 2014 he has made no appearances in the league and only one in the Copa del Rey, when Malaga drew 1-1 against Deportivo la Coruña.

Some of the European clubs that have shown interest in Ochoa include Liverpool, the Turkish side Besiktas, the Greek champions Olympiacos, and most recently Valencia from Spain.

Ochoa is Mexico’s national team first-choice goalkeeper and started his career with Club America in 2004. He later moved to Ajaccio in 2011 and to Malaga in 2014.
