France were beaten 1-0 in Albania on Saturday afternoon and a number of their key players, including Giroud, under-performed in the friendly. Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra was just one figure to lambast the squad following the game [via Mirror Sport].

It would appear Giroud has taken the majority of the blame, as Leboeuf singled out the Gunners striker by name in an interview with French media outlet Telefoot:

“The worst thing was the lack of professionalism. There is no such thing as a friendly match for France,” the former Blues defender said [via Standard Sport].

“Giroud did not play well but he was not the only one out there,” Leboeuf added.

Giroud doesn’t seem to have much luck with his compatriots as he came under fire from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry towards the end of the season.

Henry said [via Mirror Sport] in April that he felt the Gunners would fail to win the Premier League with Giroud as their main striker.
