While Louis van Gaal’s opening £35 million offer for Ramos was rebuffed by the Merengues, the Dutch coach looks set to return to the Bernabeu with an improved offer [Daily Mail].
With the defender understood to be unhappy at the club, and angling for a move away from the Spanish capital, it looks likely that he will make the move to Old Trafford over the coming months.
