The Czech Republic international completed his move to the Gunners on Monday afternoon as weeks of speculation was finally brought to an end.

After 11 highly successful years with the Blues, where Cech won every single major club honour available to him, a new adventure awaits him across the city with the Gunners.

Cech is still considered as one of the best goalkeepers in European football and his signing could turn the North London outfit into serious title challengers next season as they look to be crowned champions of England for the first time since the 2003-04 campaign.

The Gunners arguably haven’t replaced Seaman and now they finally have a world-class keeper in the between the sticks and he believes Cech can inspire the club to more success:

“He will demand respect straight away through what he has done his career at Chelsea,” the Gunners legend told talkSPORT.

“When somebody of that stature comes in, it does steady the defence down. They will enjoy playing in front of Petr Cech because he is a talker, he is an organiser.”

“The trophies he has won is incredible. Can he do at another club? For me and Arsenal, I hope he can,” Seaman added.
