Liverpool player ratings: Simon Mignolet makes crucial impact on Klopp’s debut

Posted by

Philippe Coutinho – 6/10

Not particularly threatening enough given that he is regarded as the main source of creativity for the Reds, and he will hope to produce better performances moving forward.

Adam Lallana – 7/10

Tricky proposition for Tottenham with his movement and ability on the ball, but still lacking that bit of decisive quality in the final third.

Divock Origi – 6/10

Sacrificed himself for the team with his tracking back and closing down, but missed a golden opportunity in the first half to break the deadlock which could have had a significant impact on the game as a whole.

Substitutes

Joe Allen – 5/10

Little time to influence the game as a late replacement in midfield.

Jordon Ibe – 5/10

Similar to Allen, but will hope that he can figure in Klopp’s plans moving forward.
