Report: Arsenal plotting move for £30m Brazilian superstar & Manchester United transfer target

Arsenal are understood to be considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Lucas Moura, according to reports in France.

As noted by Arsenal fan site All Arsenal, the Gunners are plotting a move for the Brazil international as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options.

The report notes that the North London giants are planning a bid of at least £30 million to secure the signature of the 23-year-old, who was heavily tipped for a move to Manchester United before sealing the transfer to PSG back in 2012.

United have again been linked to the attacker in recent times, and would represent considerable competition for Arsenal should the Gunners decide to make a move.

The arrival of Angel Di Maria and the presence of a series of other elite offensive talents at PSG has reduced Lucas’s game time in the French capital, and he has managed 12 starts of a possible 17 in Ligue 1 so far this season, while not making a single start in the Champions League.
