Serie A giants to make £29m transfer offer for struggling Chelsea star

Though the scoring troubles of Chelsea megastars Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have been the most noticeable at Stamford Bridge, other key players have struggled too. Oscar, for an example, has just one goal in the Premier League and no assists while appearing in only nine matches so far. As a result of his struggles, one European powerhouse is looking to land the Brazilian star in a transfer while his value is at its lowest.

According to the Metro, reigning Serie A champions Juventus are interested in making a bid for Oscar and are preparing a bid of around £29 million to get his signature in the January transfer window.

Juventus lost star midfielder Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich this past summer as well as club legend Andrea Pirlo, who moved to New York City FC in MLS. Though they have receieved solid production out of Chelsea flop Juan Cuadrado, Oscar would be a valuable commodity in Serie A (where they currently rank fourth).

Oscar’s lone goal of the Premier League season came back in August during a 2-2 draw against Swansea City. His only other scoring contributions of the 2015-16 campaign have been two goals and an assist in the Champions League – all against lowly Maccabi Tel-Aviv however.
