Arsenal ready to pounce on January move for Marcelo Brozovic

Arsenal are preparing themselves for a push to sign Croatian international midfielder Marcelo Brozovic during the January transfer window, according to Calciomercato.

The 23-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal before, but instead opted to join Inter Milan from Dynamo Zagreb on an 18-month loan deal last January.

He has been in impressive form in Serie A since linking up with Inter, and reports are now claiming that he will now join the club in an £8million deal before being sold on, and the Gunners are now thought to be at the front of the queue.

And Calciomercato believe that Inter would be willing to allow the international to head for north London in a deal worth around £11.9million.

However, they could face some competition in the form of Chelsea, who are also said to be interested in landing his signature and could launch their own move to help halt their flailing season.
