Transfer rumors regarding Liverpool are spreading like wildfire, with star players emerging on Jurgen Klopp’s shopping list from all the corners of the world (though mostly his old stomping grounds at Borussia Dortmund).

The immediate future certainly appears promising for Liverpool with a big game against Watford this weekend and a litany of prized talents on the market for the Reds in January. Will Klopp be able to shift the magic he’s brought to the pitch to the negotiating table?

Here is the Liverpool transfer roundup for Wednesday:

Lucas Moura on the market

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing PSG forward/winger Lucas Moura. The 23-year-old Brazilian is valued at £21.5 million but is also drawing significant looks from Manchester United and Arsenal. [Source: Foot Sur 7]

Green light for Martin Montoya

The 24-year-old defender from Barcelona is currently on loan to Inter Milan, but his deal is set to expire in January. With Liverpool believed to be interested in his services, Inter boss Roberto Mancini said he won’t stand in the Reds’ way should he become a free agent. [Source: Goal]

Maximilian Hofmann targeted

Rapid Wien defender Maximilian Hofmann was apparently a target that Jurgen Klopp had his eyes on even during his Borussia Dortmund days. This January, he plans to try and pull the trigger on a deal even amidst competition from Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg. [Source: Transfer Tavern]

The 22-year-old Austrian centre-back has played his entire football career in his native country.
