Chelsea have started 2016 in style.
A lovely move, involving Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and goalscorer Oscar saw the Blues take the lead in Sunday’s Premier League game at Crystal Palace inside 29 minutes.
Fabregas, who has been a shadow of his 2014-15 self for most of this season, proved that he still has the passing ability to slice open defences, by producing a glorious through ball for Costa, who squared for Oscar.
Chelsea have been the slightly better team in the first half at Selhurst Park, in spite of the Premier League table.
Palace began the day 11 points ahead of the Blues, who will be within six points of the top half if they win this match.
