Euro agent confirms Arsenal target wants Premier League move

The agent of Arsenal and Liverpool target Granit Xhaka has admitted that his client could be on his way to the Premier League after refusing to rule out a move, the Daily Star reports.

The 23-year-old has been in flying form for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, which has attracted admiring glances from several clubs in England, and is now rumoured to be a target for both Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp.

And now Xhaka’s father and agent, Ragip, has revealed that his son could move to the Premier League following some high profile interest in his signature.

“At the moment I prefer not to say too much,” he said.

“We’ll see what happens. I can say that several big clubs are interested. Everything is possible, we’re not ruling anything out.”

Arsenal are known to be in the market for more central midfield reinforcements thanks to a series of crippling injuries, but reports this week are claiming that an imminent deal to sign Basel’s Mohamed Elneny is close to going ahead.
