Man United trying to beat Arsenal to land Croatian star

Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has been playing rather well during his loan spell with Inter Milan. He has the Serie A giants well-positioned for a run at the title and played very well for Croatia in the Euro qualifiers. Now he’s getting looks from a pair of Premier League giants and could be on the move.

According to the Metro, Manchester United and Arsenal have both expressed interest in the 23-year-old midfielder. So far he has four goals in 31 Serie A appearances since joining the team on an one-and-a-half year loan deal back in January 2015.

Marcelo Brozovic’s agent Miroslav Bicanic told Calciomercato that the Dinamo Zagreb midfielder is happy where he is but wouldn’t rule out a rule to the Premier League if the price was right. He added that Inter Milan would still need to give Brozovic the green light before anything was done before the conclusion of the loan deal.

‘Premier League clubs know him very well, they believe he can improve a lot in the next few years,’ Miroslav Bicanic told Calciomercato.

‘They also know he’s not cheap though. Marcelo is happy at Inter, he’s playing well, the fans love him and everyone at the club believes in him. Milan is fantastic.

‘So we’ll only think of a transfer if Inter give the green light. Until then, he’s focused on Inter matches, and how to get the best possible results this season.’
