Man United on high alert as Robert Lewandowski agent drops Bayern exit hint

Manchester United may have been handed a huge boost in their chase of striker Robert Lewandowski after his agent, Maik Barthel, admitted that an exit from Bayern Munich isn’t off the cards, German publication Bild reports.

United have been heavily linked with the Polish international, with a £70million bid being mooted, which Bayern are not keen on entering discussions in.

However, Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently made comments that have angered the former Borussia Dortmund man, when he made eyes at Napoli hit man Gonzalo Higuain.

Rummenigge said the Argentine international was a “great player’ who his club ‘would like to have”.

And Lewandowski’s agent told the tabloid that comments like that could cause him and his client to look elsewhere.

“When you already have a pretty bride, you should not go looking at other brides,” Barthel said.
