Juan Cuadrado set for stunning Chelsea return after failed Juventus transfer

Colombian international winger Juan Cuadrado looks set to be heading back to Chelsea after a lacklustre loan spell at Juventus has put any hopes of a permanent deal on the rocks, according to reports in Italy.

The 27-year-old was one of the hottest properties in the Italian to plight during his spell with Fiorentina, but failed to live up to his reputation during his six-month stay at Stamford Bridge.

He was then loaned to fellow Serie A big guns Juventus over the summer, but has once again failed to regain his form and could now be shipped back to London.

Juventus are reportedly not keen on coughing up the £18.9million that the Blues would likely ask for and would rather send him back than be made to pay.

Cuadrado has made a total of 23 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring twice.
