Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw by Watford at Vicarage Road on Wednesday night, but it did allow them to extend their unbeaten run to 10 games in all competitions.
Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes was the hero for the hosts, as he produced this save to deny Diego Costa a late winner.
The Spanish striker had risked being sent off in the first half as he was involved in a couple of scuffles with Watford defenders, but he was left frustrated in his attempts to have a positive impact on the game too.
Odion Ighalo could have potentially secured all three points for the hosts but he miscued his header in the first half. However, over the course of the game, the Hornets will be pleased to have picked up a share of the spoils in what was a difficult encounter.
Having secured another point, the reigning Premier League champions move up to 13th place in the table and to within 16 points of fourth placed Arsenal as they hope to continue to keep their slim chances of making the Champions League alive.
Meanwhile, Quique Sanchez Flores saw his side move up to ninth as they are undoubtedly still in the hunt for a place in Europe next season.
