Juventus took an early lead against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night, giving them a 3-2 advantage on aggregate.
The Bianconeri arrived in Bavaria after their spirited comeback in the first leg, as despite falling two goals behind to their rivals, they were able to claim a 2-2 draw in Turin.
It appeared as though they took that momentum into the second leg as they made a positive start to the encounter by pressing high up the pitch and forcing their opponents into mistakes.
That pressure led to a crucial error from David Alaba as he failed to cut out a ball to Stephan Lichtsteiner, who forced Manuel Neuer to block his effort.
However, the rebound fell into the path of Pogba, and the Frenchman kept his cool to send a controlled effort into the back of the net to stun the home crowd.
It remains to be seen whether or not the visitors are able to maintain their level of energy for the entire encounter, but they certainly look more positive and comfortable in possession than they were in the first leg.
