Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi has taken to Instagram to celebrate the victory he achieved with Spain’s U-21 side on Monday evening.
“We played a great game today,” Munir wrote on his @munirhaddadi Instagram handle. “A hug to all in the Spain U-21s.”
The youngster featured as Albert Celedes’s outfit beat Norway 1-0 in a friendly match, and while Munir impressed, it was a Barcelona old boy who stole the show.
Gerard Deulofeu hasn’t enjoyed the best of campaigns at Everton since moving to the club permanently following a successful loan spell, managing just two goals in 23 Premier League appearances.
Admittedly, the 22-year-old has often been used from the bench by Roberto Martinez, but Toffees fans were surely expecting more from the player who, like Munir, is a product of Barcelona’s fabled La Masia academy.
Deulofeu scored the only goal of the game after 17 minutes at Murcia’s Nueva Condomina stadium, taking him just one goal behind Rodrigo’s all-time record of 15 for the U-21 side.

20-year-old Munir has featured 14 times for Barcelona in La Liga this season, starting seven matches, scoring three goals and contributing two assists as Luis Enrique’s side have climbed to top spot in La Liga.
The starlet may well feature in Saturday’s El Clasico against Real Madrid.
