Marcus Rashford and the rest of England’s Euro 2016 squad have been training this week in preparation for tonight’s friendly with Portugal at Wembley.
The Manchester United prodigy had some pre-match downtime this afternoon, and decided to entertain himself with some light, but educational, reading.
Rashford uploaded this picture of Philippe Auclair’s Thierry Henry’s biography to his Instagram account, with the caption “legend” to describe the Arsenal hero.
It is Rashford’s United teammate and Henry’s French compatriot Anthony Martial who has drawn comparisons to the Gunners’ all-time leading scorer.
But the 18-year-old striker’s game also has similarities to that of Henry’s, and he could certainly learn a lot from studying the career of the Premier League icon.
Rashford was the surprise inclusion in England’s squad after nine goals in 19 games for United and a goal three minutes into his international debut against Australia.
