Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, and he may well have dropped a hint over his future.
As is now the case in modern-day football, social media activity is often scrutinised and closely observed to see what players are up to.
In turn, the 25-year-old’s decision to follow Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo has undoubtedly sent tongues wagging, with new links being made between the Leicester winger and a move to the Emirates.
It’s certainly a strange one in terms of the players that Mahrez could have followed rather than the misfiring forward, and it’s worth noting that he also still follows N’Golo Kante which hardly means he’s off to Chelsea tomorrow.
Nevertheless, it’s certainly been picked up in the media, with many suggesting that the move to Arsenal isn’t yet dead and remains a possibility ahead of the deadline later this month.
Mahrez, who scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists last season in Leicester’s Premier League title-winning campaign, will be a key part of the Foxes plans again this season, and Claudio Ranieri will be desperate to keep hold of his star man.
