Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger bid a final farewell to the Germany national team in his final international game against Finland on Wednesday night.
The experienced midfielder was given a standing ovation from the Germany fans for his services to the national team over the years.
Schweingsteiger sent out the following tweet after the game thanking the fans for everyone.

Schweinsteiger made his debut for Germany in June 2004 and ends his international career with 121 caps.
The 32-year-old midfielder was part of Germany’s 2014 World Cup-winning squad and retires as Germany’s fourth most-capped player of all time.
