Arsenal take on the Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday evening in the UEFA Champions League

The Gunners star centre-back Laurent Koscielny was an injury doubt going onto Tuesday’s game however, the France international has been declared fit to start according to SkySports.

The report states that Koscielny was present during first-team training today despite taking a heavy blow to the face in the final minutes of Arsenal’s win against Southampton on Saturday.

The 31-year-old scored Arsenal’s equaliser against Southampton before Santi Cazorla’s last minute winner.

Arsene Wenger also confirmed that Koscielny is fit to start against PSG tomorrow evening.

“He’s all right – he had a big knock on his face but he recovered quite well,” Wenger was quoted as saying by SkySports.

“I was concerned after the game that he wouldn’t be available tomorrow, but he is all right.”

Arsenal go into the Champions League opener in high spirits following back-to-back wins over Waford FC and Southampton in the Premier League.

Mustafi and Perez – who made their Arsenal debuts over the weekend – are both in-line to start for the Gunners. Meanwhile, PSG go into the game having lost key names over the summer including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Luiz.
