Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson has returned to training following an eight month spell on the sidelines.
The 24-year-old missed the beginning of this season through injury, following two years out on loan at West Ham United.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain took to social media to congratulate his teammate upon his return from injury.
The England international shared a photo of himself alongside Jenkinson with the caption, “I know what a tough 8 months it’s been for this guy and after seeing how much hard work and dedication he’s put in to get back fit, I’m buzzing to finally see him back in full training with the boys! Welcome back.”
However, right-back’s first-team chances may be limited at Arsenal due to the presence of Mathieu Debuchy and Hector Bellerin.
The Gunners take on FC Basel in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening.
