Oxford set the world alight in his Premier Leage debut in 2016 when he marked Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil out of the game.

Manchester United’s out-of-favour midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to heap praise on his former international teammate Miroslav Klose.

Germany’s all-time leading goalscorer Klose retired from football earlier today at the age of 38.

The former Lazio striker helped his country win the World Cup in 2014, becoming the record scorer in the tournament’s history with 16.

Schweinsteiger shared a photo of the duo celebrating a goal for Germany along with the following caption, “A player Germany owes a lot to, a remarkable character – who can make the difference in any team. Miro, I’m already looking forward to seeing you on the sidelines!”
