(Video) Zlatan Ibrahimovic reaffirms class as he leads Manchester United to win at Swansea City

It’s been a tough few weeks for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the Manchester United striker produced his response in the 3-1 win over Swansea City on Sunday.

The former Swedish international had been suffering with an uncharacteristic goal drought as the criticism continued to pile on him from all directions.

However, he ended that barren run on Sunday with a double against the Swans, with this, his second goal of the afternoon, helping to secure all three points for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Paul Pogba had opened the scoring with a stunning strike in the first-half, while Ibrahimovic added a second not long after with an impressive finish of his own.

However, despite a late consolation goal from the hosts, it was a comfortable win for the Red Devils who will now hope that the result sparks a good run of form after falling off the pace both at home and in Europe.

The win moves United into joint sixth place and six points adrift of the top four as they now look to close the gap with a confidence boost ahead of the international break.
