One of the more surprising moments in Man United’s comfortable win over West Ham last night was the unexpected appearance of Bastian Schweinsteiger. The midfielder has been frozen out since Jose Mourinho’s arrival, training away from the first team and not travelling with the squad.
But recent injuries have caused him to be reintroduced to the group, then the squad, and then finally back to first team action with an appearance off the bench.
The former Bayern man celebrated this unexpected Renaissance with the following post on his Twitter.
