Sadio Mane continued his fine start to life at Liverpool with his seventh goal in 13 Premier League games for the club at Bournemouth on Sunday.
The visitors put the pressure on from the start of the game at the Vitality Stadium, with Jurgen Klopp undoubtedly delighted with how quick they were out the blocks.
They didn’t waste time to make it pay either as Mane raced clear of Nathan Ake and kept his composure to round Artur Boruc and tap into an empty net.

Eddie Howe will be far from pleased with how his side did in the build-up to the goal though, as Ake was caught out and showed a real lack of strength as he failed to keep Mane in check.
Further, question marks will also be asked of Boruc’s decision to race out and get nowhere near the ball which in turn made it pretty easy for Mane to apply the finishing touch.
Nevertheless, it’s difficult to take credit away from the Liverpool man, as it was a quality goal that provided his side with the perfect start.
