Fernando Torres has left hospital in high spirits after avoiding serious injury in a horror collision yesterday evening.
Torres was knocked out cold in a nasty clash of heads last night, and at first it didn’t look good. His Atletico teammates rushed to his aid, grabbing his tongue to ensure he didn’t swallow it. They were then visibly distressed as he was treated on the field of play.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker was rushed to hospital, but there doesn’t appear to be any lasting damage. He was beaming as he walked out of hospital.
