Manchester United are reportedly considering a transfer move for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney due to being put off Juventus’ £62million asking price for Alex Sandro.
According to the Daily Record, Sandro is Jose Mourinho’s top target for that part of the pitch, but Juve are demanding a lot and seem reluctant to let such a key player go anyway.
The report claims this has led United to look instead at two young players in the form of Ryan Sessegnon, whom the Guardian also recently linked with the club, and Celtic ace Tierney.
Tierney, 20, looks one of the top young players coming out of Scottish football at the moment, and could be a great long-term addition at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have a proud tradition of showing trust to young players and developing stars instead of simply buying them, particularly during the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
Things have changed somewhat since then, with United also spending big on some marquee signings, but fans would surely relish seeing top talent like Sessegnon or Tierney join the ranks and make their name at Old Trafford.
