Aubameyang to Arsenal & Dzeko to Chelsea among 7 high-profile Premier League transfers that could go through next

Mahrez to Arsenal

Le Buteur recently linked Riyad Mahrez as a target for Arsenal, and he’d be an ideal alternative if for some reason they failed to land Aubameyang.

The Algeria international seems another fine candidate to help replace Sanchez in attack, and it’s also been claimed that he has an agreement with Leicester City to move if a good enough offer comes in for him this month, according to France Football as translated by the Metro.

The Express have also claimed Mahrez has held talks with Liverpool, so the Foxes ace could be on the move this January anyway, even if it’s not to the Emirates Stadium.

Smalling to Arsenal

According to the Gambling Times, Arsenal have already asked Manchester United about signing Chris Smalling during initial talks over the Alexis Sanchez deal.

They price the Gunners as 8/1 favourites to sign the England international, who no longer looks Jose Mourinho’s automatic first choice at the back.

Smalling could be a fine signing for Arsenal to solve what has been something of a problem position for them this season.

Moura to Tottenham

Another report from the Express claims both Tottenham and Arsenal are ‘locked’ in talks over signing PSG winger Lucas Moura.

The Brazil international is not a regular at the Parc des Princes and could be a great fit for a number of Premier League clubs looking to strengthen in attack.

Arsenal could do with him if they miss out on Aubameyang or Mahrez, and Spurs could also benefit from his pace and trickery to give them something different up front in the second half of the season.

Kenedy to Newcastle

According to the Chronicle, Chelsea ace Kenedy looks closer to joining Newcastle on loan as he prepares to undergo a medical with the Magpies.

This could be an important move for the former wonderkid, who has failed to live up to expectations since moving to Stamford Bridge.

Kenedy has to get this move right if he is to revive his career, and Chelsea will hope the Brazilian once considered so promising can now get his career back on track.
