Real Madrid will reportedly not provide competition for Manchester United and Liverpool in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Christian Pulisic.
The USA international is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in world football at the moment after impressing greatly in his time in the Bundesliga so far.
Don Balon claim that his preference is for a move to Real Madrid, but that club president Florentino Perez currently has other priorities in the form of Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi to bolster his attack.
Pulisic is not thought to be a target for Los Blancos at the moment, which could give some encouragement to both United and Liverpool after recent rumours of their interest in the 19-year-old.
Sport1, as translated by the Metro, recently linked both Premier League giants as suitors for Pulisic, with Dortmund ready to listen to offers of around £88million for the youngster.
That seems a huge amount to pay for a player at this stage of his career, despite his obvious talent and potential.
Dortmund also won’t want to lose another star too easily after seeing both Ousmane Dembele and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seal moves away in the space of just a few months.
This also follows the trend of the last few years as big names like Robert Lewandowski, Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan have also all moved on after making their name with BVB.
