6) Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

Many laughed at his price tag when Kyle Walker moved between Tottenham and Manchester City, but few are talking about it now.

The England right-back has been absolutely superb and looked a great fit for Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering side as they chase the treble.

Maybe a tad overpriced, but Walker is ideal for this City side and was just what they needed to fill an important area of the team.

Romelu Lukaku has been prolific for Manchester United

5) Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United)

He divides opinion, but Romelu Lukaku has surely shown his worth for Manchester United in a very decent first season that shows the promise of much more to come.

The Belgium international made a flying start before hitting a dry spell, but is now on form again and now has 25 goals and seven assists to his name in 44 appearances.

Remarkably, Lukaku is still only 24 and you feel the best is yet to come from him at Old Trafford.

4) Andrew Robertson (Liverpool)

What a find. Barely anyone batted an eyelid when Liverpool signed Andrew Robertson for what looks like peanuts in modern football money, but he’s been an absolute revelation.

The Scotland international is now firmly ahead of Alberto Moreno in the pecking order at left-back, with energy and quality on the ball that makes him ideal for how Klopp likes his side to play.
