World Cup winner odds: Who is the favourite to the win tournament as England are installed second favourites?

The World Cup 2018 has been a fantastic spectacle thus far, and we have nearly reached the climax of the tournament – but first comes the two semi-finals.

The first will see France meet Belgium as two of the World Cup’s best teams come head-to-head in what promises to be an entertaining affair.

Meanwhile, England reached the semi-final of the World Cup 2018 for the first time in 28 years after they defeated Sweden 2-0.

The Three Lions reached their third semi-final after the World Cups in 1966 and 1990 with goals from Dele Alli and Harry Maguire.

Gareth Southgate’s men will now face Croatia in the World Cup 2018 semi-finals on Wednesday 11 July 2018 after the Croats beat hosts Russia on penalties in a dramatic affair.

The odds for the World Cup winner has taken a different outlook compared to the start of the tournament, when Germany and Brazil were the favourites to win the competition.

France and Belgium were also amongst the teams tipped to win – however, Croatia and England have defied expectation to reach the last-four.
